Micro-Biology
Microbiology has been the subject of teaching from the date of inception of the institution. The Department was started with the student strength of 9 in 1994. The UG department became PG department in the academic year 1997-1998. The first batch consisted of 15 students. The medium of instruction is English.
Biochemistry and Entomology are offered as allied subjects in; the UG department . Seven members of teaching faculty are in the department to fulfill the educational, intellectual and scientific needs of the students.
In the PG course subject as Biostatistics, Computer and Entomology have being added as interdisciplinary. The students are encouraged to take part in seminars, symposiums, Discussion and competitions held both at inter and intra institution level. Such participation has been going as for the past five years. The participating students win fabulous prizes and famous prizes from all quarters.
