B.Com Objective of the Course: To provide the basic and essential knowledge regarding various activities undertaken and necessary to run socially responsible business organization To impart certain basic skills and aptitude this will be useful in developing entrepreneurship. To provide a global view of the several financial and other institutions and their function which support the business system. To develop the personality so as to become a responsible citizen with greater awareness about the Indian Society and its culture. Eligibiligy: Candidates for admission to the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce Course shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or Vocational stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu (or) an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereto. Duration of the Course: The course for the degree of Bachelor of Commerce shall consist of three academic years divided into six semesters.
