Located in Established in the year 1965 Govt. Badri Prasad Arts, Commerce and Science College Arang is named after Badri Prasad Garudik who died at the age of 24 in 1965. His mother donated all her land approximately 22 acres to establish a much needed higher education institution in this rural area. The institution is situated on the national highway no. 53 about 35 km. eastward from capital city of Chhattisgarh Raipur where Pt.
