Bachelor of Science (BSc Footwear Technology), Himalayan University
This three-year program, offering the bachelor’s degree in footwear technology, prepares students for working efficiently and innovatively in the designing, manufacturing, and marketing of footwear for all. The usual posts of employments will be footwear designer, line developer, footwear technologist, production supervisor, footwear marketing executive, quality control manager, business development executive/manager, etc. This course covers the areas of materials for footwear, drafting patterns, machineries and technologies for production of footwear, quality control, materials research, marketing of footwear, and overall management of a footwear business. 12th: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2).
