This college was established by 1977 in the name of Indian Institute of Homoeopathic Sciences It got affiliation with university of Bihar in I 980 and since then it is imparting training in various courses of homoeopathy. Now this college is known in the name of Mangala Kamala Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital.
Professor Bishnu Kumar Sinha and his wife Smt. Kamala Kumari Sinha who were founder president and secretary respectively were donors. They donated a beautiful and spacious multistoried building and about 2.5 acres of land for the college, which is situated in the District town of Siwan and on the river's side. The president and the secretary have also donated rupees one lakh cash.This institution comprising of a three storied College building and a proposed multistoried hospital building under construction. College Building : All the department namely, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacy, Preven¬tive & Social Medicine, Forensic Medicine & Toxi¬cology, Pathology, Gynaecology, Surgery, E.N.T. & Eye, Organon of Homoeopathic Medicine, Material Medica, and Repertory are situated in College building. Laboratories are well equiped

LIBRARY
The College has its own well stocked library, with reading room. The library remains opens open on every working day of the College between 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Students can borrow books from the library against caution money as determined by the Principal. About 1220 books are available in the library. A number of new Books will be included in the library very soon against the grant received from Govt of India.
