Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has been established as an autonomous institution with active support from the Government of Bihar. The institute was established with an objective of contributing substantially to the academic and development credentials of Bihar, while fulfilling the primary role of training students to become professional managers.

CIMP offers a two-year full-time, AICTE approved, Post Graduate Diploma in Management.The institute follows, to the extent possible, all practices, systems and processes of leading management institutes in India.The first batch of the institute graduated in 2010 with 100% placement record.

Located in the heart of the city of Patna, the campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled. All classrooms and conference rooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with LCD screens and projectors to stimulate learning and interaction. In addition to the classrooms, the institute has a library, an auditorium, a computer centre, faculty rooms and on-campus hostel facility for students. Institute also has a Badminton Court, Table Tennis and Gym facilities in-house.
