L.B.T college was established in November 1978.Ajay kumar thakur( I.A.S) IS founder and president of this college.This college is open by the name of Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak because there was no any education center or college in Bihar established by the name of Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak. Presently The secretary Narendra Prasad Rai is only one donor of this college.There is only one constituent college at buxar and students were facing problem for higher education therefore the founder of this college established this college to fulfill the education need of the student.
