Sabour College, Sabour is a constituent unit under TM Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur established in the year 1973. It is situated on the bank of the river Ganges and is a block headquarters by name Sabour block in Bhagalpur division of the state of Bihar. Sabour College is affiliated with TM Bhagalpur University for Degree Program, with BIEC Patna for +2 Program. This college is only constituent college imparting higher education within the periphery of 25 KM in the north, west and east. It caters to all the students belonging to the poor, underprivileged, downtrodden family pursuing for higher education. It also serves as the only option for the girls student of the area pursuing for the higher education.

Thousands of bright, ambitious students have passed through our doors, leaving a bit of themselves behind when they head off to that first job or graduate school. We are proud of the institution they helped build and continue to sustain through their financial support.

Sabour College offers education from the Intermedaite- level to the under-Graduate level in all streams viz. science, humanities, social science, commerce and fine arts from the regular courses. The courses of colleges are national standard based on UGC model curriculum. Seminars, Symposium, Conference, interaction, Project and team-work are common features of the institution. The college is well equipped and providing high quality teaching, fair examination and in every sphere, it becomes the top in the University and show as a model institution. The College tries its best to inculcate the fine human values among students for enlighting them not only in personality development but also for contributions towards the society and the nation at large.

The College imparts teaching in almost all the popular subjects in the faculty of Commerce, Art, Science and Distance learning courses at UG and PG. Vocational and Self-financing courses like BCA, Biotechnology, BBA, and BSc-IT are also running. Extracurricular activities like games, sports, fine arts, music and drama are the part of curriculum and regular features. NCC, NSS and extension Services are the integral part of college-life. The college has a spacious library which strives to create a lively and enriching intellectual environment for students, faculty and staff members.
