This bachelor’s degree course in metallurgical engineering is especially designed for diploma holders in any relevant field, and lasts for three years. The main work of metallurgical engineers is to apply engineering technologies for efficient conversion of natural mineral resources into diverse metal products used in various sectors, such as transportation, defense, healthcare, infrastructure, entertainment, etc. Thus, metallurgical engineers find employments in all those companies which are engaged in extraction of minerals, refinement of mineral ores and metals, and manufacturing and distribution of metals. All three broad areas of metallurgy engineering, such as mineral processing, extractive metallurgy, and physical metallurgy, are covered.Eligibility
