      About Lanka Mahavidyalaya, Lanka

      Lanka Mahavidyalaya was established on 20th July, 1979 in the outskirts of Lanka town which is situated in the southernmost part of the district of Nagaon, Assam. Lanka is situated at a distance of about 180 Kms, from Guwahati, the Capital city of Assam and about 65 Kms. From Nagao, the district head quarter town. The site where the college stands today spreads over an area of about 17acres amid green surroundings. The college has been accredited 'B" Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in January, 2005.
