Established in the year 1994 in the western part of Kokrajhar district, in a most educationally and economically backward area Fakiragram College is promised to cater good education for the economically and socially undeveloped students at a minimum cost. After a decade it has set its steps on a concrete base and can boldly announce to have attained adolescence period. It is dedicated to spread knowledge both in Undergraduate and Graduate level. Spreading over an area of 56 Bigha of land it has now provided with the facilities required for both students and teaching staff. But we should bear in mind that only infra-structure development cannot serve the purpose of higher education which is apt not only to impart knowledge but also to create knowledge., I am very pleased to announce herewith that Fakiragram College is going to launch its own web site, although it is a bit late. Earlier educational institutions/Government/other institutions resorted to display their various information serving notices and advertising in the newspaper. But these are of back dated now. Now all are apt to serve the purpose by launching their own web site through which these institutions can display their off shooting in their own web site meant for the students in particular and people in general., The Governing Body has chosen a just time for launching the website of the college, dedicated to all – Students, Guardians and public, through which everybody can find various information of the institution. I, being the executive head of the college invite the honourable viewers to visit our newly launched web site. Also I invite probable suggestions from them for its further improvement.
