National Education Foundation (NEF) was founded in 1993 as a non-government minority organisation registered under Indian Trusts Act 1882 as a chariatble trust. The Trust has been granted registration under clause (a) of Section 12(A) of the Income Tax Act 1961. It was formally inaugurated by Sri Golok Ch. Rajbangshi, the then Minister, Higher Education. Govt. of Assam., NEF has been rendering exemplary services in the field of higher education in a short span of time with special emphasis on job-oriented professional and traditional courses in Management, Law, Social Work, Arts & Commerce and the like., Since its establishment, it has been rendering its services with dedication for dissemination of education keeping pace with the changing trend in educational scenario.
