Don Bosco College, Itanagar is an educational Institution of the Catholic Church belonging to and managed by the Don Bosco College Society of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Dimapur Province registered under the societies Registration Act of 1890: No. 50 SR/ITA/4034. It is the first private Degree College in the State of Arunachal Pradesh. The College is permanaently affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh.

Don Bosco College, Itanagar, established in 2002, is a general degree college in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. It offers undergraduate courses in arts and commerce. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University.

The College is named after St. John Bosco 1815 – 1888 popularly known as Don Bosco – Father and Friend of Youth. He was a Catholic priest and a prominent educationist engaged in the welfare of youngsters.
Don Bosco College, Itanagar aims to impart quality higher education to the youth of Arunachal Pradesh. We intend to contextualize education so that the youth of Arunachal Pradesh can grow up with love of one’s culture and maintain the good customs and traditions of Arunachal Pradesh.The Motto of the college is “Lead Kindly Light”. Don Bosco College intends to guide the youth of Arunachal Pradesh to be loyal citizens and God fearing men and women who will lead their own society as good and honest Politicians,

Bureaucrats, Businessmen, Judges, Lawyers, Teachers, Artists, Environmentalists, Social Workers, etc.
We shall strive to impart quality education, uphold moral values and maintain strict discipline.
The college offers traditional courses in Arts and Commerce streams. We intend to launch vocational
and professional courses in the future that would go a long way in developing skilled personnel in
the state of Arunachal Pradesh as well as create avenues for self-employment.
