In 1972, "The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam" became constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. JNTU has 110 acres of sprawling campus, green with mango trees in the Port city of Kakinada. The college provides hostel accommodation for nearly about 400 boys and 300 girls. Other amenities on the campus include Bank, Post-Office, dispensary, guesthouse, and play fields.
