IIT JAM 2024 Pattern of Test Papers
IIT JAM 2024 exam pattern states that each test paper is of three hours duration. In the exam, candidates need to attempt 60 questions which were of 100 marks weightage. These 60 questions are divided into three sections – A, B, and C. All these sections are compulsory and candidates need to attempt questions from all the sections. Section A:

IIT JAM Negative Markings
Candidates are informed that there will be a negative marking in IIT JAM 2024. Marks in each section of the exam would be deducted as per the scheme mentioned below.
- Section A: For each wrong answer to one mark question, 1/3 mark will be deducted. On the other hand, for each wrong answer to two marks questions, 2/3 mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for any questions left unanswered.
