GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of the GMR Group, established Sri SGCSR College in the year 1993 at Rajam with the intention of nurturing and preparing the rural youth towards promising career opportunities. Education being the key to complete development of an individual, the management of Sri GCSR College aimed to inculcate within their students the vision to excel academically and to compete effectively and healthily. Located in Rajam, Srikakulam District of AP, the college provides its students excellent facilities, infrastructure and competent faculty.

It is a matter of legitimate pride to all concerned that this College started in the year 1993 has steadily progressed and earned a distinct name in promoting quality education in the rural area.As you are all aware, it is my cherished dream to place Rajam as an educational centre of excellence in the sub-continent of India . I am needed happy that our institution has been acknowledged for its unique contribution in stimulating amongst the students “Creativity and Lateral thinking”, in a different way to be competitive in the Corporate World. Sri GCSR College offers its community a stimulating and enabling learning environment. The campus is, in every way, geared for shared knowledge and constant inquiry. Located far from the distractions of city living, spread over 5 acres and equipped with all major facilities, students and faculty can look forward to a fruitful and memorable learning experience at the Institute.
