Government Degree College, located at Srisailam, in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, is a co-educational college, run by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college was established in the year 1993 to conduct quality higher education for the people of Srisailam and its nearby areas. The college is well-equipped with all modern amenities within an excellent learning environment. Government Degree College at Srisailam is affiliated to Sri Krishnadevaraya University. The college offers several undergraduate courses in Arts and Science faculties. Besides, the college also offers professional courses like Bachelor of Business Management (BBM).Keeping this in view, the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh started this college in the year 1993 with the financial support of APGENCO. This organization pooled the amount of Rs.03 Lakhs for primary infrastructure of the college, such as benches, Labs, books etc., The courses were recognized and the college was affiliated to Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantapur.
