      About P N C K R College of PG Course, Guntur

      P.N.C. & K.R. Degree College, names after Sri Paladugu Nagaiah Chowdary, a Philanthropist and Sri Kotha Raghuramaiah, an astute Parlamentarian was started at Narasaraopet in 1991 under the able patronage of Doctor coupleDr.Medarametla Sivalinga prasada Rao and Dr.M.Annapurna. The college is promoted by the Sri Venkateswara Paladugu Nagaiah Chowdary and Kotha Raghuramaiah Educational Society (Regd.) and with in a short span of decade have reached a level of educational standards comparable to any of the similar colleges in Andhra Pradesh.The PNC&KR Degree College has a modern well planned campus located about 2 K.M. from the Narasraopet Railway Station. The campus is spread over about 7 acres with imposing buildings in lush green, polution free environment away from the hustle and bustle of town life. The college buildings were inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr.N.T.Rama Rao on 29-05-1995.

      The College has an excellent reference library, which houses at the moment more than 11,000 volumes of books and Journals, embracing every conceivable discipline of study. More than 100 Research Journals, National and Foreign were subscribed. The Library has a spacious reading hall that can seat nearly 300 students. It serves students, members of faculty and being opened from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. The P.N.C. & K.R.College Library is one of modern equipped Libraries in Acharya Nagarjuna University area. The Library is having all the required furniture, Photo Phone, Internet Facility for maintaining the College Library administation in congenial atmosphere. The college Library has reached a Memorondum Of Understanding with DELNET, New Delhi for making reference service, downloading the required contents and materials of various subjects from books and research journals. The Library is converted into fullfledged computerised Library. The Library is having unlimited Internet facility. The Library is being made an efforts for making some parts of books and articles as Digital Library
      Sports facilities are available in the campus. Annual Sports event is held in the month of December in every year
      The College has a well furnished auditorium with a plinth area of 4835 sqft with fixed public address system described as an architectural masterpiece. It can Accommodate nearly 650 students. It is the first of its kind in Narasaraopet town, build with plaster of Paris technology. It is useful for organizing National level conferences, Seminars, and Workshops by various Departments of the College in particular and other Academic institutions in general.
      Good transportation facilities for its students, staff members and visiting guests.
      Hostel facility is provided to the girl students by the management to pursue their studies properly.

      The College computer laboratory is one of the best Computer Science Laboratories in the Guntur District with over 200 state of the art of the computer systems. All the systems are interconnected through Local Area Network under Windows NT,LINUX, Novel Netware environment. Internet facility is provided to all the systems. Lab facility is being provided to the students round the clock.

      The college has a modern equipped Seminar Hall of the size with LCD, OHP and Audio Visual facilities. To improve an innovative academic talents of the college students and staff, this Seminar Hall is used regularly.
