Govt. Degree College, Nainidanda, Pauri Garhwal has been established in july 2006 on the recommendation letter No 387/XXIV/7/2006 of Human resource development department( Higer Eduction) uttaranchal govt. and letter No. /G.S (77)/ affiliation 2006 Dehradun, dated 31 May 2006 of Governor. Secretariate, Uttaranchal, Dehradun. The college is temporarily affiliated to HN B University Srinagar, Uttarakhand for 3 yrs for degree cources in Commerce.This College is a centre of higher eduction in the Himalayan region block nainidanda, Tehsil Dhumakot, Dist – Pauri Garhwal
2.764 hectares of land was proposed for the college building out of which 2.637 hect. Of land has been donated by 28 villagers of patotia and badiyum patti bijlant villages. Rest 0.127 hect of land belongs to uttarakhand govt. whose transfer to the college is under process.
