At Maharana Institute of Communication Studies & Management (MICS) .We try to synergise all these to ensure quality performance.MICS was established in 2008 under the aegis of Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) to launch professional courses in response to a rapidly changing global environment. We started with an independent autonomous one-year postgraduate programin communication and new media and the response was enthusiastic.
We find over the years a lot of changes have taken place in the world of journalism and business administration and there is a need to shape up new talent into true professionals so that they match up with the industry requirement. With excellent ambience, the infrastructure in terms of class rooms, computer and laptops with all the required software’s used in the industry and Wi-Fi connectivity, studio equipped with audio-video tool and well stock library, keeps atmosphere enriching for a student to develop himself into a professional who will excel in the industry. The placement of the first batch students in the reputed media houses speaks of our success. Our corporate linkages benefit the institute in securing good placement of our students both in media and business houses. We at MICS offer three-year degree courses both in mass communication and business administration along with value added one year PG diploma after graduation in communication duly approved by the university.
We strive to put students into working environments with our core faculty drawn from the very best in the profession and back up support from excellent visiting faculty who contribute towards teaching and research... The course module is not mere theory or confined to classroom lectures but involves practical and field assignments so that the student gets the feel of the real life action.We pride ourselves in our unique teaching methods and learning environment which give to our student’s practical, hand-on knowledge, skills and attitudes as well as work ethics which make them highly sought in business today.
