Maharana Pratap College of Management and Information Technology was established in the year 2007. The institute is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. The main objective of the institution is to provide remunerative more affordable high quality & skill-based technical education to the general masses of the country. Maharana Pratap College of Management and Information Technology is governed by a Society registered Under Societies registration act 1860. The Society also runs 3 Public Schools under the name of Maharana Pratap Education Centre. Also the major step in the field of education was establishment of Maharana Pratap Engineering College, Maharana Pratap Dental College, College of Pharmacy and a 100 bedded multi specialty hospital at Kothi Mandhana.
About PTU
Punjab Technical University was established by an act of State legislature on 16 Jan 1997 to promote Technical excellence in Emerging Technologies and for promoting training, Research & Development in these areas. Also courses offered by PTU are as per the nomenclature and guidelines of University Grants Commission that makes these courses universally acceptable.
As of today PTU affiliates about 145 Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Hotel Management and Architecture colleges in the State tat are approved by AICTE.Punjab Technical Courses are recognized across various universities and institutions in United Kingdom. Few among them are famous as in Birmingham City University, City College Norwich and New College Nottingham (NCN).
