The travel and tourism industry worldwide is expanding and diversifying rapidly. As more and more people travel for business and leisure, the industry has seen a strong increase in demand for well-trained service sector professionals. The industry needs people who can deal competently and confidently with a range of activities and who possess the knowledge, skills and procedures required in travel and tourism sector. Good training substantially helps productivity and efficiency.
Established in 1981, ours is one of the leading Institutes in India and we have trained hundreds of students for the past twenty six years, out of which many are working in leading airlines and travel agencies, not only in India but also abroad holding responsible positions.We are ATC (Authorised Training Centre) Authorised by IATA, Canada. Therefore we prepare students for IATA/UFTAA courses for exams conducted by IATA every year in the month of March and September. We seek to make our students active instruments of social change through social service, slum visits and visits to home for the handicapped, home for the aged, home for the destitutes and less privileged, striving thereby to sow the seeds for a new world of loving, caring & sharing. We conduct voluntary blood donation camps to make our students realize that they dare to donate blood today and someone would dare tomorrow.
The programmes have been designed to provide a broad introduction to work in the travel and tourism industry and related industries. Also designed to provide those preparing to enter the industry, or those already working in travel and tourism industry, with a critical awareness of the physical, social and economic environments in which travel and tourism takes place.It widens career prospects of students into the domain of Airlines or Travel Agencies – Passenger or Cargo, Cruise Lines, Car Rentals, Hotels as: Traffic Assistants, Reservations and Counter Staff, Sales and Marketing Staff, Tour Operators, Tour Planners, Customer Services, Airport Duty Officers and as Front Office Assistants.
