The Roy’s Institute of Competitive Examination, popularly known as RICE, is the mother institution of the Group. It is today the foremost institution in West Bengal for training young men and women to compete for different Government Services viz. Staff Selection Commission, Public Service Commission, W.B.C.S., Railways, Banking, etc. The RICE Group manages four ATCs of C.M.C Computer Education at Dunlop, Sealdah and Kalighat. The Dunlop ATC is one of the largest ATCs and the first in the Eastern Zone of the country. The RICE Group is involved in the promotion, management and organisation of Rice Infotech Education, an institution engaged in the promotion of education in the field of IT and ITES services, such as Multimedia, Medical Transcription and Call Centre Operations as well as software and networking. The courses of RICE Infotech Education are affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical Education as well as Centre for Rural and Cryogenic Technologies, Jadavpur University.
The RICE Group is actively engaged in providing the basic educational needs of children through Adamas International School, which has earned a very good name in the State in the field of secondary education. This school not only caters to the educational requirements, but also contributes towards the physical and mental growth of children through meditation, yoga, various sporting activities, etc.
