Panjab University Constituent College, Nihal Singh Wala began its work in 2011, in the midst of the lush but underdeveloped countryside of Moga district of Punjab. It has served as a constituent of light, a haven for the youth and teachers alike, a window to the ocean of meaning and knowledge. It is a channelize of lives but above all place where people learn to think well and critically. Its impact on the cultural and economic development of the region is immense and in its own small way it is an attempt to realize the Indian dream of human resource development. The very infrastructure of the college, with spacious departments, classrooms and playgrounds is a startling and inspiring view in the countryside. The working of the college, too lives up to the immensity that the building inspires. Cultural and literary activities are organized in the college from time to time to give vent to the talent of the students. There is a constant effort to provide the students with a stage to express and experience, to communicate and learn, to develop from girls and boys into young ladies and gentlemen, but most of all to make them humane from mere humans.
