Admission Announcement for MBA (Full-time) and Ph. D. Programme 2009
2-Year MBA Programme(full time)
Eligibility:
A
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or
equivalent grade in aggregate or in major subject from a recognized
Indian or foreign university / institution. Students in final year of
degree courses expecting results by 31st of October 2009 may also apply.
Selection:
Candidates
should appear in Management Aptitude Test (MAT) to be conducted by All
India Management Association (AIMA) on December 7, 2008. No other MAT
score will be accepted. They must include Tezpur University as a choice
in the MAT application form. Short listed candidates based on MAT score
will be asked to appear in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at
Tezpur at their own cost.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) Programme

Eligibility:
(i)
Master’s Degree in Humanities and Social Science/ Management Science/
Science/ Engineering/ Technology or Master’s Degree in allied subject
with consistently good academic record and minimum 55% marks or an
equivalent CGPA in the Master’s degree.
A fellowship in Chartered Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship from a
recognized Indian or a foreign institution with not less than 60% or
equivalent CGPA having a minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
Selection:
On the basis of selection test conducted by the concerned department.
Reservation of seats and relaxation of marks will be as per Govt. of India Rules.
How to apply:
Application
forms alongwith prospectus can be obtained from the office of the
Controller of Examinations , Tezpur University by paying Rs.300/-(
Rs.150/- for SC/ ST) in cash or from AXIS Bank branches at
Agartala, Aizwal, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh,
Guwahati (Paltan bazar), Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jorhat, Kolkata,
Kohima , Nagaon, New Delhi, Pune, Shillong, Silchar, Tinsukia and Tezpur
( proper addresses of the banks may be obtained from Tezpur University
website) by paying Rs. 320/- ( Rs 170/- for SC/ ST) only in cash or (ii) by sending a request to the Controller of Examinations, Tezpur University, P.O.- Napaam, Tezpur, PIN- 784028, Assam with a bank draft of Rs. 350/- ( Rs 200/- for SC/ST) only drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University payable at Tezpur and a self addressed unstamped envelop of size 30cm x 25cm or (iii) by down loading from Tezpur University web-site (www.tezu.ernet.in ). Downloaded application form must be accompanied by a Bank Draft of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University payable at Tezpur.
