GOVT. ENGINEERING COLLEGE, AJMER M.TECH. ADMISSION 2008-2009

B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in relevant
subject or having M.Sc./MCA qualification as per the eligibility norms
of AICTE, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Application form can be
obtained personally or by post (add Rs. 50/- for postal expenditure) by
paying Rs.300 (Rs.150 in case of SC/ST) through DD/IPO in
favor of Principal, Engineering College, Ajmer payable at Ajmer.

Important
information:
1. Application forms must be
submitted with a DD/IPO of Rs. 300 (Rs. 150 in case of SC/ST
candidates) in favour of Principal, Engg. College, Ajmer payable at
Ajmer
2. Annual fee of Rs. 42,000 will be charged irrespective of category of
the candidate
3. The course duration is of two years (four semesters) and the
respective syllabi can be downloaded from Rajasthan Technical
University website: www.rtu.ac.in
4. Eligibility conditions for
admission will be same as laid down by RTU
5. Candidates applying under “sponsored candidate” category must submit
appropriate sponsorship certificate given in the application performa
from their employer
6. Admission will be given on the basis of written test and/or
interview. Candidates having valid GATE score shall be preferred and
shall be eligible for AICTE/MHRD scholarship (applicable for
non-sponsored candidates only)
7. Hostel Facility and Transportation: Hired hostel facility can be
provided to interested students. Monthly estimate on food and
accommodation is around Rs. 3000/- including college bus transport
facility.
