All Application shall be allowed to take the online Entrance Test.
However Provisional admission shall be given only to candidates who
have passed the online test and who satisfy the eligibility criteria.

ONLINE TEST AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE

1. Online Tests will be conducted in specified online tests centers at specified dates and timings.
2. Online test centers will operate only if sufficient number of candidates opts for that centre.
3. As
   far as possible we will try to accommodate you’re the preferences.
   However the allotment of Date and Centre for Online Test is vested with
   the Centers for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai and is
   final.
4. The results of the online entrance test will be announced on the same day as the test.
5. Candidates
   are required to bring Original Certificates (SSLC,) HSC Diploma and
   Degree Certificate) along with one set of Xerox copies when they come
   for Online Entrance Test for scrutiny and provisional selection.
6. The
   relevant Xerox copies of certificates of selected candidates will be
   scrutinized by the Centre  for Distance Education and the list of
   eligible and provisionally admitted candidates will be announced on the
   web by the Centre for Distance Education
7. The actual admission process and payment of fees will take place at the online test centers subsequently
8. However the candidates can come directly to the Centre for Distance Education for admission and fee remittance.

DEMAND DRAFTS: All
Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Director, Centre for
Distance Education, Anna University Chennai” payable at Chennai and be
obtained from any Nationalized Bank on or after 09.05.2008.
NOTE:
Study Centres will operate in selected cities where there are
sufficient numbers of candidates. The present lists of study centers
are available at our website www.annauniv.edu/cde
Candidates should send only one application irrespective of the number
of programmes for which he/she would like to take up Entrance Tests.

Applications are invited from candidates from all over India.

Candidates will be required to produce copy of the relevant provisional
/ degree certificate at the time of admission by February 2008.

Limited number of previous question paper booklets are available for
sale through a D.D for Rs 25/- per booklet at Centre for Distance
Education, Ann University, Chennai – 600 025. those candidates who need
the Q.P. booklet by post should send DD for an amount of Rs 75/- for
every question paper booklet.
