Master of Law (LLM in Banking and Finance Law), is a one to two years postgraduate professional Law degree course in India. Banking, Corporate, and Finance are one of the several LLM program in the country where lawyers can take a year, of course, related to specifically to Banking & Financial Law, like Mergers & Acquisition, Securities Regulation, Banking Regulation and Investment Banking.

Eligibility

The candidate have to complete Bachelor Degree like, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Legislative Law (L.L.B) or any Bachelor Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination ,with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s Degree professional study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 1 to 2 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning study option to earn this degree.

Further Study

After the successful completion of master’s degree course, candidates can pursue for, M.Phil (Banking and Finance Law), Ph.D. (Doctorate in Banking and Finance Law) or do specialisation and research oriented work in their respective field.
