Smt. Binzani Mahila Mahavidyalya is the oldest women's college in the downtown Nagpur. Established in 1961 the college has recorded many high points in academic as well as extra - curricular areas.It is situated in Mahal area and is engulfed by educational centers and activities.

It is run by a distinguished Managing Body called Nagpur Shikshan Mandal. President Shri T. G. Deshmukh, Secretary Shri A. K. Gandhi and other members of the Mandal combine well and effectively to keep the college up front. The Mandal's motto "Tat Sukhsukhitvam" -(In your happiness lies our happiness)- is noble in thought and pragmatic in operation.We offer education in Arts stream with multiple choice of subjects including Communicative English and Fashion Designing which are the craze of the modern times.The calender of the college is full of student-oriented programmes. The Annual Social Gathering is one of our unique features.

We have earned Kudos in the field of sports and have special recognision for quality programmes in Music. Hence, virtually we are acclaimed as the singing voice of Nagpur University.

Consistently we have been crowding the Merit List at B.A. level in the University.

Since its inception in 1961, the college has traversed on its path of progress and earned a reputation of a premier women's institution in East Nagpur. As the college enters it's golden jublee year, we are proud and acknowledge the success achieved by our illustrious alumni who have contributed immensely in different walks of life.

The college realizes the indispensability of the process of reaching out and providing Higher Education to the marginalized sections of the society and bring them into the mainstream of Higher education. Our transparent administration is run on secular principles and social justice.

The all-round development of our students is accomplished through their participation in the collegiate and inter-collegiate competition of VUM, contribution in our annual magazine 'Deepkali', participation in annual social gathering and sport events, Volunteer as an active member in NSS. This active participation also sensitizes them to the national and international issues like corruption, terrorism, racism and fosters a spirit of nationalism in them.
