Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University is a pioneer teaching Department not only in the state of Maharashtra but also has academic recognition in the country as a whole. Started way back in 1956, it has catered to the needs Pharmacy education in big way and has generated personnel which have emerged as key functionaries in the domain of “ Academics” as well as “ Profession” as a whole. It is recognized by PCI and AICTE. It conducts Graduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Research Programme in Pharmacy under the Faculty of Medicine. Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is proud to be the only University Department accredited by NBA, AICTE, New Delhi.
