The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai for teaching courses leading to B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BMS, BMM and M.Com degrees, and is recognised by the Education Department, Govt of Maharashtra and H.S.C. Board to conduct classes of F.Y.J.C. and S.Y.J.C. alongwith vocational courses in Electronics and Computer Science and Information Technology. The College also undertakes courses in M.C.V.C. recognised by the Technical Board, Govt. of Maharashtra.izvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce was laid by the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra State, Late Padmabhushan Shri. Vasantadada Patil on 31st March 1985.
