The Arts and Crafts Education Society was formed in the year 1953, and later on in the year 1985 it came to be known as L. S. Raheja Technical Institute. In 1994 Visual and Communication Art was added to the existing courses with the sole motive of providing opportunities to the students who wanted to make their career in this field. So we stood as the opportunity givers ! and opened our doors for the aspiring students.

The Arts and Crafts Education Society has been a premier Art Institute in the city of Mumbai for the last five decades. It has produced artists par excellence who have taken Indian Art to the new heights. The society through its L.S. Raheja School of Art and L.S. Raheja Technical Institute runs the different courses in the field of Art, Craft, Painting, Ceramics, Pottery, Visual and Communication Art, Fashion Technology, Photography and Animation.

We accepted challenges thrown by the globalised economy and went on and on to add to new course in the form of Animation, Videography, Editing and Photography, Fashion Designing, Ceramics and Pottery. As a result of our continuous efforts, L.S.Raheja has become TRUE ART Institution which offers almost all courses under one shelter.
