      Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati, the second largest education society in the State of Maharashtra was founded in 1932 by Shikshan Maharshi and Krushi Ratna, Late Dr. Panjabrao alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh, the first union Minister of Agriculture.

      Shri Shivaji College of Agri Biotechnology, Amravati offers various graduate courses as well as Post Graduate courses.

      Bachelors Degree Courses

      Bachelor of Science (BSc Agriculture Biotechnology)

      The B.Sc. ( Agril. Bio-Tech.) degree course is of 8 semesters (4 years) covering 160 credits of following five main departments. The B.Sc. (Agril. Biotechnology) is four year degree course (8 semesters Programme) covering 165 credits of following five main departments.
      Various subjects / courses offered in different semesters which are covered through lectures, practicals, library reading, field work, assignments, visits and tours.

      Intake capacity : 40 (including Management quota 20%)
      Students having passed XII Std. (Science) Examination or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English, are eligible for admissions. Students who have not offered Mathematics shall have to complete the deficiency course as prescribed by the university admission procedure.

      Admission Procedure :

      MCAER, Pune will conduct admission procedure for B.Sc. (Agril.Biotech.) degree programme through MKCL, Pune.
