Sophia Homoeopathic Medical College established in the year 2002 to cater the needs of homoeopathic students. The College is recognised by Centre Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi, Medical Education, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, Higher Education, Govt. of M.P.Bhopal and affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior.
The College is founded under the dynamic Chairmanship of Mrs. Manjeet Bhalla, an educationist and social worker. She has been conferred with many awards for her outstanding work in the field of education.
The Advisory Committee of the Institution consists of eminent, highly professional and outstanding personalities. One of the founder Members of the College Dr. J.S. Khanna is known for his innovative work and his contribution in the development of homoeopathic medicines in India is remarkable. he is also the National President of Homoeopathic Medical Association of India and senior member of C.C.H. (Central Council of Homoeopathy) from the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The College offers B.H.M.S. (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery) a five and half year degree course, including one-year compulsory internship. The college has its own building with well-equipped Anatomy & Physiology Lab, Pharmacy Lab & well stocked Library.
