Criteria of Eligibility for Admission
The students entering MCA must have a
A pass in any recognized regular Bachelor's Degree course of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level
OR
A pass in any recognized Regular Bachelors Degree course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the Subjects
OR
A pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University"
Subject to the regulation relating to prescribed minimum of the respective qualifying examination, the minimum marks of admission to the course of studies shall be a pass in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) referred to GO(P)208/66/Edn dated. 2-5-96 and subsequent amendments to order issued by the Government shall be given a relaxation of 2% marks in the prescribed minimum for admission.

A relaxation of 5% marks from the prescribed minimum shall be allowed in the case of physically handicapped persons.
Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in more than one chance in the subject (excluding languages) will have their percentage marks derated at the rate of 5% for every additional appearance for the purpose of ranking.

Candidates with such degrees awarded by the Mahatma Gandhi University or any other degree recognized as equivalent to degrees in 1(a) by the Mahatma Gandhi University also are eligible to apply.

* Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) with a total annual income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakhs, will have a relaxation of 5% marks.

B.Tech Fee Stucture
Annual tuition fees for students allotted as per merit rank list by management counseling-Rs.90,000/- (To be remitted at the college on allotment). Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme for Economically Backward Students
The AICTE approved TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME is implemented in the college. Presently 126 students of the college are the beneficiaries of this scheme. Meritorious students with family income less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs per annum, women and physically challenged students will also be eligible for Full Tuition Fee Waiver on the basis of Entrance Rank.

For the remaining 35% seats rank list is prepared on basis of index marks obtained by combining the percentage marks of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at the Plus Two level and the percentage score obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination with 75% and 25% weightage respectively. The marks obtained in the State Board/CBSE/ICSE for each subject are normalized with reference to the highest marks obtained by applicants from the respective Board. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme for Economically Backward Students
The AICTE approved TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME is implemented in the college. Presently 126 students of the college are the beneficiaries of this scheme. Meritorious students with family income less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs per annum, women and physically challenged students will also be eligible for Full Tuition Fee Waiver on the basis of Entrance Rank.

Students admitted under full tuition fee waiver scheme need remit only Caution Deposit, university fees, cost of Uniform materials & Association subscription, at the time of joining the college.

SAINTGITS offers 100% Tuition Fee Waiver for Top Rank Holders of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examinations 2011. All students up to Rank No. 3000 admitted through Government allotment are eligible.

For availing this scheme, students registering options for admission in SAINTGITS through CEE website (http://www.cee.kerala.gov.in) have to remit the required fees (Rs.35,000/-) at the designated bank branches as per CEE's direction. At the time of admission in SAINTGITS, students have to produce the fee receipt and allotment memo. The tuition fee will be refunded to the students from SAINTGITS upon completion of admission formalities.

Admission Procedure
Admission is strictly on the basis of merit. 50% of the total seats in B.Tech Course are set apart for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. 15% of seats within sanctioned intake is provided for NRI Category and given on the basis of marks obtained for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Standard. For the remaining 35% seats rank list is prepared on basis of index marks obtained by combining the percentage marks of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at the Plus Two level and the percentage score obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination with 75% and 25% weightage respectively. The marks obtained in the State Board/CBSE/ICSE for each subject are normalized with reference to the highest marks obtained by applicants from the respective Board. The last date of receipt of applications will be 6th June, 2011. There is no capitation or any other monetary consideration for admission. We have not authorized any agent or agency for admission.

Merit list for the admission will be published in the website/College notice board. Selection will be in the order of Merit through Open Counseling for the seats set apart for candidates from Christian Community and for the candidates in the General Category. The date of counseling will be published in the website and college notice board. Individual intimation for the open counseling will not be sent to the applicant. Government admission under minority quota for Christian Students
Christian candidates who wish to be considered for admission in 6 seats under minority quota should submit the certificate from the Village Officer on or before the stipulate date to the office of Entrance Commissioner.

* Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50 % marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer science/Biology put together are eligible for admission.
* Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) with a total annual income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakhs, will have a relaxation of 5% marks.
* Reservation of seats shall be as per rules prescribed in the relevant rules by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala.

B.Tech Fee Stucture
Annual tuition fees for students allotted as per merit rank list by management counseling-Rs.90,000/- (To be remitted at the college on allotment). The above students have to remit a deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- (Refundable without interest after completion of the course) within one month from the date of allotment.
