Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) – Technical Campus, School of Engineering (Archbishop Angel Mary Nagar, Cochin University P.O., Kalamassery, Kochi – 682022, Kerala, India) is a Roman Catholic Latin Christian Minority Institution initiated by Archdiocese of Verapoly, which has a track record of centuries serving in the field of Education. The Archdiocese of Verapoly lies in the revenue district of Ernakulam, Kerala with its Headquarters at Marine Drive in Kochi city. The Archdiocese of Verapoly, which was originally known as Vicariate of Malabar, has its origin dating back to 1657. Spanning over four centuries, education was always the focal point of the rich legacy of service of the Archdiocese. The Archdiocese, through a number of renowned educational institutions and training centres, has always been contributing significantly to the realm of knowledge and shaping well-informed generations.
The Institution is spread over a picturesque area of 12 acres of land. The land is located in the Thrikkakara North Village, Kalamassery Municipality and Kanayannur Taluk of Ernakulam District in the State of Kerala.
Its borders are Cochin University of Science & Technology at its West, St. Paul’s Arts and Science College at its north, St. Joseph’s School at its south and St. John of God Church at its east. The atmosphere is conducive to calm and peaceful academic pursuit. The location is well connected to the city by public transport. Apart from this, the college would operate its own fleet of buses for the convenience of students and staff. The design for the AISAT Technical Campus has been prepared by a prominent architectural firm, which has an excellent reputation and past experience of constructing half a dozen of engineering colleges in the country. The design envisages efficient & optimum utilization of the available area, turning this campus into one of the most vibrant, functional and well equipped campuses in Kerala.
