      About Government First Grade College GFGC, Koratagere

      Government First Grade College, a premiere degree college in Koratagere, a Rural Taluk Headquarters in Tumkur District, established in 1985 by the Government of Karnataka, vide GO No. DCE ED 61MUN85 dated 29-07-85 and 06-08-85 with a humble beginning of 146 students, originated on the campus of Government Junior College, Koratagere, before acquiring an independent existence on a modest 2.5 acres of landwhich was donated by the philanthropistsof Hanumanthapura, an outskirt of the town in 2000.
