Established in 1963, Government Post College, Nahan is celebrating its Golden Jubilee Year. Right from its inception , it has made its marks in education, sports and co-curricular activities.

At the very outset I on behalf of all the members of Dr. Y.S. Parmar P.G. College, Nahan family welcome you all to our college with ardent enthusiasm. Our college from past 56 Yrs is imparting education in Sciences, Humanities and Commerce. Recently new programmes/subject as Computer Application, Education, Geology and Sociology, Bachelor of Vocation, Graduate Add-On Programme, Spoken Tutorials and IIRS ISRO Outreach Programme are other feathers in the cap.

We believe that students are most promising assets of our country. We provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development where students are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. While academic excellence is our major thrust, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities facilitate the process of creative and critical thinking to meet the challenges of tomorrow. The Cultural and sports activities provide students with ample opportunities for honing their talent and creativity. The N.C.C., N.S.S. units and Scout & Guide motivate students to undertake social service and its related causes.

Recently our college has been chosen for Unnat Bharat Abhiyan MHRD, Govt. of India which is inspired by vision of transformational change in rural development processes. This enables higher educational institutions to work with people of rural India to evolve appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth.

Our college offers Wi-Fi enabled campus well equipped classrooms with multimedia projectors a spacious and updated library and conference hall. I strongly believe that education is a collaborative effort that involves professional administrations, committed teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents.
