Janta Polytechnic Butana(Sonipat) is a part of Janta Vidya Bhawan, a lush green, beautiful campus, spread in the heart of Sonepat district, Teh. Gohana, established in 2004. The college offers Elec. Engg., Mech. Engg., Civil Engg. courses duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to HSBTE, Panchkula.

Janta Polytechnic Butana (Sonipat) has an excellent infrastructure, experienced faculty, well-equipped with Workshops, Library, Machine Lab, FM Lab etc. In today’s fast changing world scenario, there has been a paradigm shift in the field of education. With a balanced blend of commitment, diligence, sincerity of staff and management, the institution has been able to keep pace with the changing environment.

The institute started the training classes like J.B.T., drawing classes etc. to enable the youth of this area to get the in various govt. departments. In 1977 a job oriented diploma course in pharmacy, diploma in polytechnic in 2004 and bachelor degree in pharmacy in 2009 was started in this institute to cater the need of technical education. The institute endeavors for the fast academic to face the challenges of the 21st century through comprehensive training and excellent education delivery system.
