The National Board of Examinations (NBE), GOI is all set to start registration for All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam (AIPGMEE) 2014. The AIPGMEE is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination conducted on all-India basis for admission to All India 50% quota MD/MS/Diploma Seats in state government medical colleges throughout the country except for those located in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh. The National Board of Examinations has been entrusted the responsibility of conducting this competitive entrance examination by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The AIPGMEE 2014 is prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to All India 50% quota of MD/MS/Diploma Seats for the academic session 2014.
As the State Governments of Haryana, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and University of Delhi shall not conduct an entrance examination of their own for admission to MD/MS/ PG Diploma courses at colleges under their control, they shall utilize the results of AIPGMEE 2014. Admission to MD/MS/ PG Diploma courses at institutes under Armed Forces Medical Services shall also be made on the basis of AIPGMEE 2014 scores.
* Candidates who have completed their MBBS/DBS degree from a recognized Institute (except colleges/ universities located in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh) along with one year internship are eligible to take AIPGMEE 2014.
* Also, those who are likely to complete their internship on or before 31 March 2014 are eligible for the exam.
* Eligible candidates who are seeking admissions to MD/MS/PG Diploma medical courses can apply for AIPGMEE 2014 through online application system at www.nbe.gov.in.
