Doctor of Philosophy (PhD Public Health)

Eligiblity:

• The student must complete a Master’s degree or M.Phil degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• He/she should get a minimum of 55% of the aggregate of marks from any recognized university.
• Must clear cut-off marks in the entrance examination are the prime requirement for getting admission in this course
• The students also have to do well in the Personal Interview round.

Course Details:

Completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) indicates your admission to the community of scholars in your area of domain knowledge and requires the completion of a thesis of 80,000-100,000 words on a specialised topic of your choice. The PhD candidates are also expected to complete course work in research methods and theories. As per the guidelines of the UGC, the faculty of Sustainability Studies will be offering a PhD programme.
