Graduates Engineer Course on Operation & Maintenance of Transmission & Distribution Systems - This is a job oriented unique course of 26 weeks duration which will be conducted by National Power Training Institute (North Eastern Region), at Guwahati.The course content covers complete operation and maintenance of Power Transmission & Distribution Systems, as per the syllabus of Indian Electricity Rule (Rule-3) for Transmission & Distribution.Power Sector is a continuous expanding sector. The amendments in the Indian Electricity Act, have opened private sector participation in the Transmission & Distribution of Power. It has further created a large demand for the trained manpower in Electrical Utilities.The main objective of the course is to create a technically skilled trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the power companies in the areas of Transmission & Distribution of Electrical Power.This is a Graduate Engineer Program for those who desire to make a career in the Power Sector. On successful completion of this course the Graduate Engineers will find immense opportunities and preference in employment with various power companies.
