Raipur Institute of Technology, Raipur (RITEE) established by the Mahanadi Education Society in the year 1995 with a manadate of augmenting technical and professional education by setting up series of institutions with modern facilities and excellent academicians to realise the vision of Society. The RITEE has an unmatched example of superb corporate governance. It has an unparalled image of an ideal institution as the oldest private managem ant and technical institution. This has been possible primerily due to relentless patronage guidance provided by the Chairman of the Society, Shri Swaroop Chand Jain, the visionary and main guiding force, who was the first Mayor of the Raipur city and a member of legislative assembly of M.P. and the Secretary Shri Shailendra Jain, an engineer himself and an indefatigable person who persistently think for the growth and development of the institute. The Chairman and Secretary of the Society holds a special place among the academicians of the state and acclaimed as the institution builders in the state of C.G. and M.P.. Prof. Subhasish das holds a special place as corporate governer as Chief Operating Officer of the institute. Method of Selection: Selection (except Government nominees) is made on the basis of merit in the PET. The syllabus for the PET is the same as prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, MP for their Higher Secondary Exam. The PET is conducted in the April/May through Objective Type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Allotment of College/Institution: A candidates selected for a particular course will be alloted a given College/Institution according to the criteria mentioned in admission rules for that particular course and on the basis of preferences indicated by the concerned candidate for the institution in the computer from giving weightage to his merit marks in the corresponding course. Application Procedure: Application form for Entrance Test can be purchased in cash from the office of Professional Examination Board or any of the State Engineering Colleges.If an application form is desired by post an A/c Payee Bank Draft of requisite amount drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of controller, Professional Examination Board at Bhopal can be sent to the Board Office.
