The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) brand has now become synonymous to innovation, talent and zeal for success and contribution in management. IIM Raipur, set in the capital of Chhattisgarh, which is one of the fastest growing states of India, is playing a pivotal role in the growth and development of the state. The Institute now into its second year of operations has added several feathers to its cap. The students of the first batch successfully completed internship with the state government, a unique initiative amongst all IIMs. The institute is abuzz with activities carried by the student clubs which are now expanding their scope of activity and bringing luminaries from the Corporate. The Institute with its strong focus on Value based Management education and emphasis on knowledge creation for the perusal of all stakeholders in society has carved a niche for the institute. The Institute aims to create managers to suit the needs of the constant evolving management landscape but to also promote entrepreneurship amongst the students and the society as a whole.
Presently IIM Raipur operates from the Government Engineering College Campus, Sejbahar, Raipur. The Government of Chhattisgarh has identified 200 acres of land for the proposed IIM Raipur campus in Naya Raipur. The proposed campus will be a state-of-the-art campus presenting a blissful mix of modern architecture, culture & heritage of Chhattisgarh.
