Government College, Yachuli is situated in Arunachal predesh State. The Government College, Yachuli was started and now in a good condition also. The Government College, Yachuli have the hostel facilities and all other infrastructures. Donyi Polo Govt. College, Government College, Yachuli provide Bachelor degree courses and diploma courses.

In fulfilling the aspirations of the people and with a purpose of offering quality higher education in their door steps, Government College Yachuli was established in 2007. The college was started on 19. July 2007 at temporary site in DIET buildings with a modest strength of fifty seven students and five faculty members in its initial academic session. The College was shifted to its permanent site on 30th August 2010. Being a premier institute of higher education in Subansiri region, the college caters to the need of the entire district.

Situated in picturesque hillocks, the college site is one and half kilometer away from the Itanagar-Ziro Trans Highway and Yachuli market. The distance front the District Headquarter, Ziro is 26 kilometers while it is 120 kilometers away from the state capital, Itanagar. The nearest airport and railway station is Lilabari, Assam and Itanagar which are 110 and 120 kilometers respectively from the college.

Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, the college at present offers five different subjects/ departments under Arts Stream which includes English. Hindi. Economics, Political Science, History and Geography. Opening of new departments are in the pipeline so as to provide the students with more choices in their studies.

A team of young and dedicated faculty members and office staff are putting their best efforts despite all odds to impart value based and qualitative education to, the students. Their driving spirit is of course the motto of the college- "Knowledge is one that enlightens" which will inspire them all the time to come.
