      About S R R and C V R Govt College, Vijayawada

      The College was Affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University by an act of the State Legislature, Andhra Pradesh, 1991. The College Was Recognized by the U.G.C. under 2(f) and 12(b) from the academic year 1978-79.The Aim of the Institution is to provide qualitative higher education to the students of the region particularly those coming from economically poor, backward and other oppressed classes keeping in view the avowed policies of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and the guidelines given by the commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P. from time to time, to train the students in various vocational and other skills and also to inculcate social and cultural values.
