– Culham St Gabriel’s will consider grant applications from individuals in the UK for projects of research, development or innovation that connect to one or more of the following strands:
– advance and disseminate excellence in the teaching of religious education, school worship or spiritual and moral development for children and young people, through research at higher education level, curriculum development or innovation (this might, for example, include fees for Certificate, Diploma or MA courses for teachers of RE); or
– investigate and enhance spiritual and moral dimensions of the ethos, governance, management and leadership of schools, academies, free schools, colleges or universities, and highlight the influence on children’s and young people’s spiritual and moral development (this might, for example, include a research project to define the link between school improvement and school values/ethos).
– For both strands, the Trust places a particular emphasis on the benefits that the individual’s work will bring to other colleagues and institutions of education, and the extent to which insights and improvements in practice will be actively disseminated.
– All applications should be relevant to the strategic objectives of Culham St Gabriel’s, in accordance with the doctrines and practices of the Church of England.
