Institute of Education announces Commonwealth Commission Scholarship 2014 for students wishing to undergo a master’s degree programme at the university.

Scholarship Description: Institute of Education, University of London, UK invites applications for Commonwealth Commission Scholarship 2014 from students wishing to undergo a master’s degree programme at the university. The Commonwealth Commission Scholarships 2014 are awarded on the basis of financial need, demonstrated academic ability and proficiency in the English language. The Commonwealth Shared Scholarships 2014 is offered for the following academic programmes:
* Education and International Development MA
* Education, Gender and International Development MA
* Education, Health Promotion and International Development MA
* Educational Planning, Economics and International Development MA
* Development Education MA

How to apply

To apply for the Commonwealth Commission Scholarship 2014 candidates need to first register to the application system of the college and then apply to the IOE, through the online application form. Post this, candidates need to apply to the Commonwealth Commission through its online Electronic Application System (EAS). Click here for further information.

Eligibility :

The Commonwealth Commission Scholarship 2014 eligibility criteria are:
* Candidates need to certify in writing that they are a national of a Commonwealth developing country, and not at present living or studying in a developed country.
* Candidates need to certify in writing that they have not undertaken studies lasting one year or more in a developed country.
* Candidates should hold a first degree at either first class or upper second-class level.
* Candidates need to be fluent in written and oral English.
* Candidates must not have studied for one year or more in a developed country
* Candidates need to certify in writing that they are themselves, or through your family, unable to pay to study in the UK.
* Candidates need to certify in writing that they will return to their home country as soon as the award comes to an end.
