Ramanath Secondary School –

Ramanath Secondary school was started in a humble way in 1979 with KG sections.  It grew from strength to strength and became a primary school.  Owing to the great efforts of the then Chairman, R & D Headquarters gave its consent to start VI standard and to add class by class every year, till it reached X standard.  The School is affiliated to the CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, New Delhi. A word about RADM. K.R. RAMANATH in whose memory the school was named.  The first director of NSTL was Commodore (later Rear Admiral) K.R. Ramanath. He was also Director of Naval Science and Technology (renamed as DNRD) in the R&D Headquarters, New Delhi.
