Goalpara English School

Goalpara English School, a premier English medium secondary institution of Goalpara District, was established in 1991, aiming at imparting quality education to the students. The first batch from the school appeared in the H.S.L.C. Exam. Under SEBA in the year 1994 and recorded hundred percent success followed by a uniform brilliant results till date. It is worth mentioning that four students from this school obtained positions in the HSLC Exam. and also four students secured highest marks in different subjects.A secondary school with CBSE syllabus was a long felt necessity for the people of Goalpara and its peripheral area for offering due exposure to a national level syllabus and also to make the students will equipped for any national level of tests etc. for post HSLC studies.Thus upholding the viewpoints of the students, guardians and well wishers of the locality the management decided to convert the school into CBSE syllabus and accordingly started the process by filling up on line application on 13/06/2006 to CBSE New Delhi. In this regard the management is indebted to Sri Pratik Hazela, I.A.S. the then D.C. of Goalpara rendered all possible help to convert the school from SEBA to CBSE for which he will be remembered by the authority for the days.
